The Society is a charitable co-operative society for the benefit of the community and has HMRC exempt charity status. We receive no direct government funding, and rely on membership fees, grants, gifts, and volunteers to keep charges at a reasonable level. Formally launched on 21st May 2010 we are a new charity seeking to raise funds to achieve our social mission.

Our members believe passionately that all older and disabled people deserve good quality care services that support them to live the way they want in their own home. By donating to Caring Support your gift could help avoid residential care and support us in providing a quality care service giving peace of mind, dignity and respect.

How you can support us

We need funds to provide pastoral and training services and your gift could provide:

  • Training for staff and volunteers
  • Training materials
  • Social events for members preventing isolation
  • Help with respite care and befriending
  • Help in running the Society e.g. hiring a venue, providing refreshments, transport

By donating to Caring Support your gift could help avoid residential care and support us in providing a quality care service giving peace of mind, dignity and respect.

With our new cluster model of care provision we wish to raise standards of domiciliary homecare. We are developing local care teams within the community to meet unmet need and create support for all those involved in caring; clients, their paid and unpaid carers and families.
